Unless expressly stated in a signed written agreement, ArtTern is not an artist’s agent, gallery, employer, partner, fiduciary, authenticator, appraiser, auctioneer, investment adviser, insurer, escrow provider, or party to a transaction between users.
2. User Information Is Not Guaranteed
Profiles, biographies, credentials, exhibition histories, awards, prices, availability, reviews, images, provenance statements, and other user-submitted information are provided by users or their representatives. Publication, a badge, search placement, editorial mention, or social-media post does not by itself mean ArtTern has independently verified or endorsed every claim.
Users must conduct their own identity, authority, ownership, condition, provenance, authenticity, sanctions, payment, shipping, insurance, tax, legal, and commercial due diligence before entering any transaction.

ArtTern does not guarantee that an artwork is authentic, original, legally owned, accurately described, correctly priced, free from third-party rights, or suitable for purchase or investment. Unless ArtTern expressly agrees otherwise in writing, payment, contracts, delivery, customs, insurance, condition, authenticity, taxes, refunds, and disputes between buyers, artists, galleries, organisers, or other users remain their responsibility.
5. Opportunities, Events, and External Parties
Open calls, exhibitions, galleries, grants, residencies, events, links, and third-party services may change, close, cancel, charge fees, or impose separate terms. ArtTern is not responsible for a third party’s selection, conduct, solvency, safety, content, performance, cancellation, or data practices. Inclusion is not an endorsement unless explicitly stated.
6. AI-Assisted Content and Tools
AI-generated or AI-assisted text, images, classifications, recommendations, translations, or analysis may be incomplete, inaccurate, biased, similar to third-party material, or unsuitable for professional use. Users must review outputs and verify facts, rights, cultural suitability, and legal compliance before relying on or publishing them. ArtTern does not guarantee that AI output is unique, copyrightable, non-infringing, or accepted by any platform or authority.
