Najmeh Delara, known by Maral Delara, was born in 1984 in Shiraz. Her university degree is a master’s degree in physics. However, since her main interest has been painting since childhood, she pursues artistic activity. At the age of 9, she started her learning with black pen drawings, and after that, she learned the techniques of oil paint, gouache, watercolor, etc.

The first exhibition that she (Khanum) participated in was as a group and with the theme of Old Shiraz. The exhibition was held in 2007 and her work was widely seen because of its fine details.

Since then, she has participated in various national and international exhibitions. Her works have been with various techniques of black pen, charcoal drawing, oil paint, and watercolor.

Another of her interests is teaching painting. Especially because of her great interest in children and teenagers, one of the most attractive things to do is to teach painting to these age groups. In her opinion, at this age, children paint their own emotions and their paintings, despite their simplicity, are very emotional.

Currently, she is a resident of the United Arab Emirates.
